Folkestone Songwriting Festival Scholarships are funds that have been donated/sponsored by individuals or organisations. They are designed to assist those who would otherwise find it difficult to attend due to financial, physical or social disadvantage.

The ethos of Folkestone Songwriting Festival is to foster inclusion and accessibility to the local, national and international creative community irrespective of background.

Remember, you don’t have to be a folky hipster songwriter to apply. We’d love to hear from those are are writing in jazz, theatre, classical, rap, comedy genres…
